PuntoStack / Automation

If you do the same thing again and again, there is probably a better way.

We automate tasks, connect tools, and organize processes to reduce manual work and help information reach the right place.

Two people review automated tasks

A familiar problem

Many automations begin with a task someone repeats every day.

  1. 01

    Someone submits a form

    Today

A person opens the email, copies the details, and creates a record.

    It could happen automatically

The information is checked and saved in the right place.

  2. 02

    An order comes in

    Today

A person reviews the status and manually tells several people.

    It could happen automatically

Each person receives the right notice based on the status and agreed rules.

  3. 03

The same thing needs checking every day

    Today

Someone signs in only to see whether something happened.

    It could happen automatically

The system checks the condition and only sends an alert when attention is needed.

The goal is not to remove control. It is to save your team's attention for work that needs it.

What we can automate

Everyday processes with clear, repetitive steps.

We start with the task, not a tool. We look for steps that can happen automatically without copying information, chasing reminders, or repeating the same check.

01

Forms and requests

Turn a response into information that is ready to use.

It may include
  • Check data
  • Classify information
  • Save records
  • Create tasks
02

Alerts and notifications

Tell the right person when something important changes.

It may include
  • Orders
  • Deadlines
  • Incidents
  • Status changes
03

Connected tools

Share information between tools without having to enter it several times.

It may include
  • Synchronization
  • Records
  • Statuses
  • Confirmations
04

Internal processes

Move a process forward by following clear rules.

It may include
  • Assignments
  • Approvals
  • Follow-up
  • Escalation
05

Scheduled tasks

Run actions automatically at set times.

It may include
  • Checks
  • Reports
  • Reminders
  • Updates

Your tools can work together.

  1. Form
  2. Application
  3. Email
  4. Work system
  5. External service

A connection depends on the capabilities and conditions each service provides.

Judgment before complexity

We automate with judgment, not because it is fashionable.

We choose the simplest solution that handles the process well and keep human decisions where they add value.

Automation does not mean AI

If the rule is clear—when A happens, do B—traditional automation is usually more predictable, simpler, and easier to maintain.

AI makes sense when you need to interpret, classify, or generate information that fixed rules cannot handle well.

Not everything should be automated either

Not every process is worth automating. If it changes constantly, rarely happens, or mainly depends on human judgment, keeping it manual may make more sense.

  • The process changes constantly
  • The rule is not defined yet
  • It happens very rarely
  • The cost exceeds the problem
  • The main decision needs human judgment

If automation will not create enough value, we would rather say so before building something unnecessary.

Is it worth it?

First, we calculate how much repetitive work there really is.

We consider how long the task takes, how often it happens, the errors it creates, and the delays it causes before deciding whether automation is worthwhile.

Illustrative example
Per request8 minutes
×
times30 requests a day
equals240 minutes4 hours of repetitive work

Actual savings depend on the process, its volume, and its exceptions.

It may be worth reviewing if...

  • You copy information between platforms
  • You manually send the same messages
  • Someone regularly checks whether something happened
  • The next step depends on a reminder
  • You have duplicate information
  • Several tools should share data
  • A simple task takes too much time

If you recognize several of these signs, tell us about the process as it works today.

The solution depends on the problem

Sometimes you need automation. Other times you need an application.

Automation

  • You already have the tools you need
  • The problem lies in the steps between them
  • There is repetitive work
  • Information should be shared automatically
  • Certain actions can follow clear rules

Application

  • You need your own interface
  • There are different users and permissions
  • You need to manage information, users, or statuses
  • The process needs its own rules
  • Your current tools are no longer enough
Explore Applications

Some projects combine both: an application organizes the work, while automations remove repetitive steps around it.

Reliability and security

The workflow should also be ready for errors.

A connection can drop, a service can stop responding, or information can arrive incomplete. That is why we also plan what should happen when something fails.

To detect and recover

  • Validation
  • Retries
  • Alerts
  • Recovery

The level of protection depends on how important the process is.

And we take care with the information that moves

If the process uses accounts, credentials, or user data, each tool receives only the access it needs to work.

  • Access limited to what is needed
  • Protected credentials
  • Information validation
  • Protected connections
  • Error alerts

How we work

First we understand the process. Then we choose how to simplify it.

  1. 01

    Understand

We see how it works today, who is involved, and which tools they use.

  2. 02

    Find

We locate repetition, delays, errors, and needless steps.

  3. 03

    Design

We define what can happen automatically and where a person should decide.

  4. 04

    Build

We build the rules and connections the process needs.

  5. 05

    Test

We check normal situations, exceptions, and possible failures.

We choose the tool after understanding the process, not before.
